Experience
Toby has experience in a wide range of taxation issues focusing in particular on private equity, including:
- the formation private equity and venture capital funds
- advice on structuring investments for private equity investors and vendors
- tax due diligence on the acquisition of investments
- negotiation of share sale agreements, and
- structuring management and employee incentives.

Professional background
Toby holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia. Toby is also a fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and has presented at various TIA seminars, written several articles on Australian tax issues and drafted submissions to Government for AVCAL and private equity fund managers on various issues relating to private equity.
