Current practice
Alicia specialises in all aspects of commercial property transactional and advice work. Alicia regularly acts for developers, owners, managers and government authorities in relation to industrial, commercial, retail and hotel acquisitions, disposals and development; industrial and commercial leasing; and property management.
Alicia also regularly works with our infrastructure, corporate and banking teams carrying out due diligence, negotiating transaction documents and advising on all property aspects of major infrastructure, corporate and finance transactions.

Major projects
Alicia has acted on a number of recent major transactions including:
- acting for ANZ Banking Group in relation to the acquisition of land and development of Australia’s largest office building at Melbourne’s Dockland’s precinct and in relation to its agreement for lease and lease of its new Sydney head office
- acting for GPT in relation to its acquisition of a one-half interest in Governor Phillip and Governor Macquarie Towers
- acting for the owners of Macarthur Square, Penrith Plaza and Erina Fair in relation to the redevelopment of these Centres
- acting in relation to property aspects of the purchases of Godfreys and Rebel Sport retail businesses
- acting for the Mirvac Wholesale Hotel Trust in relation to its purchase of the Carlton Hotel Portfolio and the Courtyard by Marriott, North Ryde
- acting for AGL and other energy providers in relation to the acquisition and disposal of land and interests in land (such as options, easements and leases) in connection with energy production infrastructure, and
- acting for Maritime Authority of NSW in relation to the development; title structuring and ongoing management of wharves and waterfront properties at Walsh Bay, Jones Bay; Pyrmont Bay, Rozelle Bay, Botany Bay and Manly Wharf, the grant of construction licences and easements in connection with major State infrastructure works affecting Botany Bay and Rozelle Bay and various road dedications and release of easements at Walsh Bay and King Street Wharf.
