- ConocoPhillips Australia on its participation in the Sunrise LNG project and on the development of Bayu-Undan field in the Timor Sea and the Darwin LNG facility.
- CNOOC Gas & Power on aspects of its acquisition of an interest in Queensland Curtis LNG project with BG International.
- the North West Shelf Joint Venture on the sale of a 5% equity interest in the Australian North West Shelf China LNG Joint Venture to CNOOC Limited.
- Asian utilities and trading companies on long term and spot LNG offtake arrangements.
- Australian LNG sellers on LNG sale and purchase agreements.

- Woodside Energy on the sale of its interests in the Otway Gas Project to Origin Energy and Benaris International, including operator transfer arrangements.

- OMV Australia on the Sole (Patricia Baleen Extension) Gas Project in Bass Strait and the sale of Basin Oil to Santos.
- Paladin Oil & Gas on its acquisition of BHP Billiton's interest in the Laminaria and Corralina oil fields, Timor Sea.
- a Japanese trading company on the potential acquisition of an interest in an FPSO located in the Timor Sea.
Power, water and petrochemicals
- an EPC Contractor on the development of a coal fired power plant in Turkey.
- a Malaysian company on the development of the project financed Rajdhani hydro-electric power plant in Pakistan.
- Brunei Methanol Company (a consortium comprising PetroleumBrunei, Itochu and Mitsubishi Gas Chemicals) on the development of the project financed Sungai Liang methanol plant in Brunei Darussalem.
- a Japanese trading company as sponsor on its bid for the development of a desalination plant in Saudi Arabia.
- Water Corporation on a long term wind farm power purchase agreement with Western Power.
- Western Power (now Horizon Power) on the Regional Power Procurement Processes for the Esperance, West Kimberley and Exmouth regions.
Minerals
- a Japanese trading company on its investment in Laos bauxite mine and host government arrangements.
- a consortium of Korean companies on the acquisition of a shares in a mining concession holder of a copper mine in South East Asia.
- JFE Steel on the acquisition of a 20% interest in the BHP Billiton operated JFE Western 4 iron ore joint venture (Western Australia) and on long term iron ore sales agreements with BHP Billiton Pilbara region joint ventures.
Professional background
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from the University of Adelaide.
She is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and a solicitor and barrister in Western Australia. Sharon is proficient in spoken and written Japanese at an intermediate level and has worked in Japan for a leading international law firm.
Sharon has published and presented papers for AMPLA and the International Bar Association. She is also the author of a chapter on buying & selling upstream assets in the text ‘Oil and Gas – A Practical Handbook’ by Globe Law and Business. Sharon is recognised in the energy and resources category of the 2010-11 Asia Pacific Legal 500.
