Michelle Cole is a partner in the Perth office of Freehills and practises in the area of commercial litigation with particular emphasis on banking and insolvency and resources litigation.Industry experience
Michelle has practised in commercial litigation for nine years representing and advising many Australian and international banks in a wide range of areas including advice of security documentation, enforcement of securities, project finance disputes and insolvency issues.Michelle has acted on behalf of a number of resource companies in relation to joint venture issues, wardens court matters and contractual disputes.
Michelle is currently acting for a number of Australian and international banks including Westpac Banking Corporation, National Australia Bank limited, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Lloyd's Bank Plc, HongKong Bank of Australia Ltd and Credit Agricole in litigation commenced by the Bell Group of companies and their liquidators in the Federal Court of Australia.
